Careful! 8-month-old girl dies after mobile phone explodes

Lucknow: A tragic accident has taken place in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. An eight-month-old girl suffered serious burn injuries in a fire that broke out due to a mobile battery burst on charging in Pachaumi village under Faridpur in the district. The family took the girl to the district hospital. The girl died during treatment at the hospital.  

Sunil Kumar, a resident of Pachaumi village in Faridpur, has a solar power plant at his house. During charging, he had put the mobile on the bed. His 8-month-old daughter Roli was sleeping on the same bed. According to the information given by the family, suddenly there was an explosion in the mobile battery. Before the family could know, the fire spread all over the bed and Roli, who was sleeping, was severely burned.  

The family members came running and somehow extinguished the fire, but by then Roli had suffered severe burns. The family immediately took him to a nearby hospital and from there reached the emergency of the district hospital. The doctor admitted the girl to the burn ward after giving her first aid. The doctor said the girl suffered around 30 per cent burns and died during treatment.
