Melbourne: In the T20 World Cup 2022, the chances of host Australia reaching the semi-finals are still there. In the match played at the Adelaide Oval on Friday (November 4), Australia sweated to win against Afghanistan, the Kangaroo team could win the match by barely 4 runs. Batting first, the Australian team scored 168 runs for 8 wickets. In reply, the Afghanistan team struggled strongly, but could only score 164 runs for 7 wickets and lost the thrilling match by 4 runs.

If Sri Lanka loses, England will reach the Super-4, because their net-run rate is better than Australia's. After winning against Sri Lanka, England's net-run rate will be better.
