Lucknow: SP leader Azam Khan's son Abdullah Azam has received a big relief ahead of elections in UP, the country's largest state. After about 23 months, Abdullah Azam attacked the government and the administration when he was released from jail. After his father reached Rampur parliamentary constituency, Abdullah Azam said that this time the election is government versus citizens, there has been a lot of trouble in the jail.

Abdullah Azam, the son of senior SP leader Azam Khan and former MLA, was the first to reach Rampur after being released from Sitapur jail after nearly two years. In Rampur, Abdullah Azam said, "Even today, my father Azam Khan's life is in danger. If something happens to them, the Government and the jail administration will be responsible for it. Azam Khan's son alleged that fair elections cannot be held in the Mandal through the existing officers, so the Election Commission should take cognizance of it.''

The same Abdullah Azam, after reaching Rampur, said to the people, "What could have been tortured is still in danger to my Walid (Azam Khan). What happened in Chitrakoot jail. What is happening in the remaining jails of Uttar Pradesh?'' Abdullah Azam said, "This election will be citizens vs government. The law and order situation in the State is very bad. The police are there to break the bones of the Rampur people and send them to jail for theft of buffalo and goat. Police inspectors are caught in gang rape and rape." Attacking the present government of Uttar Pradesh, Abdullah Azam said, "My father (Azam Khan) is spending time in the lonely barracks of 8 by 8. He is innocent. He has been implicated in a trial in which 7 persons are out on anticipatory bail. Azam Khan sahib alone is in jail.
