New Delhi: Five days in the coming nine days of March, banks are to be closed. This week, 11th of Thursday is a holiday of Mahashivratri, after which the banks will remain closed due to the holiday on Saturday and Sunday. On March 15, Monday and Tuesday, March 16, the banks are going to remain closed due to the strike. In between, banks will remain operational only on Friday, March 12.
Many bank employees may also be on leave due to long holidays. In such a situation, you may have to wait a long time on Friday at the bank branch to get the work done as the bank will open only one day between the bank holiday and the strike. In such a situation, if you want to get the work done by the bank, then settle first.

On March 11, 2021- Mahashivratri, Gujarat Karnataka Madhya Pradesh Odisha Punjab Uttarakhand Telangana Rajasthan Jammu Uttar Pradesh Kerala Maharashtra Chhattisgarh Jharkhand Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will have a bank holiday. But banks will open on Mahashivaratri in Delhi.
March 13, 2021 - Banks will have a holiday on this day being the second Saturday.
March 14, 2021- Due to Sunday on this day, banks will have a weekly holiday.
March 15 and 16 - The United Forum of Bank Union has announced a nationwide strike in banks. The strike call has been made by the bank unions against the privatization of public sector banks.
