In the coming months, there are 15 days of holiday for banks in April. The banks will not be functioning on 1 April due to the opening of the next financial year 2021-22 (April-March), while the banks will remain closed on 2 April due to Good Friday. After which banks will be closed on Sunday, April 4, and on April 5 on Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti, due to holidays in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Due to the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu on 6 April, banks are going to be on holiday. Further, due to the second Saturday of the month on 10 April and Sunday on 11 April, the bank is going to remain closed. After which banks will have a holiday on 13 April due to Gudi Padwa / Telugu New Year Day / Ugadi Festival.
In the coming days, on 14 April, there will be a holiday in banks due to Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti as well as Tamil New Year Day / Vishu / Biju Festival / Chiroba / Bohag Bihu. At the same time, on 15 April, Himachal Day / Bengali New Year's Day is the holiday of Bohag Bihu and Sarhul. At the same time, it is Bohag Bihu on 16 April and Sunday on 18 April. Further, banks will remain closed on April 21 on the holiday of Ramnavami. Then there will be no functioning in banks due to the fourth Saturday on April 24 and Sunday on 25th.
