New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the tragic road accident in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh. He has announced two lakh rupees each to the family members of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. PM Modi said he was deeply saddened by the incident. He expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has also expressed grief over the incident.

In fact, there has been a major road accident in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. There has been a fierce collision between a double-decker bus and a truck. The collision was so strong that 13 people have lost their lives. Moreover, more than 30 people are said to be injured in the accident. The incident took place in the soil area under Thana Deva. PM Modi tweeted in the morning that he was deeply saddened by the news of the road accident in Barabanki in UP. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I have just spoken to CM Yogiji also. Proper treatment is being arranged for all the injured colleagues.

On the other hand, UP CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted that "The death of people in a road accident in Ramasnehighat area of Barabanki is very sad. My thoughts are with the bereaved family. I pray to Lord Ram to provide space to the departed souls at his feet and speedy recovery to the injured.''
