Bengaluru Violence: 80 get shifted to Bellary Central Jail

Medical examinations have been conducted on 145 people arrested in connection with the riots in Bangalore city, the national capital of the country's IT companies. Those among the arrested were rushed to COVID-19 Care Hospital after getting corona symptoms. In Bangalore, 80 rioters were shifted to Bellary Central Jail overnight. Corona tests are being performed on the rest of those arrested. A total of 145 people, including husband of a Congress party minister, have been arrested by the police so far.

Rate of coronavirus reached 5 % in Uttarakhand

Police have arrested 145 people in connection with the violence that took place in Pulakeshinagar constituency MLA Akhanda Srinivasamurthy's house in Bangalore City wherein the rioters threw stones and petrol bombs at his house along with police vehicles and ambulances along with private vehicles. Three rioters were killed in police firing. All those arrested underwent medical tests at the hospital before appearing before the court.

Three of those arrested in Bangalore were rushed to COVID-19 Care Hospital after they were found to be corona positive. The accused who caused the Bangalore riots was produced before a judge by the police via video conference. The judge ordered the accused to be remanded for 15 days. All the arrested accused were shifted to Bellary Central Jail under tight security by the Bangalore CCB and KSRP police on Thursday night on suspicion of possible clashes at the Bangalore Central Jail again.
