Bereaved families from the Heroes Forum staged a march in Jerusalem, urging the government to resist Hamas' demands and reject the general strike. The demonstration occurred outside a cabinet meeting on Monday morning as families and supporters voiced their opposition to halting military action.

The protesters, who began their march from the Heroes Tent near Cinema City in Jerusalem, called on Prime Minister and his ministers to deny Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar any perceived victory.

Heroes Forum Chairman Yehoshua Shani, who lost his son Major Uri Shani on October 7th, urged Arnon Bar-David, the head of the Histadrut labor union, to end the strike. Shani argued that the strike was undermining Israel's strength and unity. He appealed to economic leaders to avoid actions that could inadvertently bolster Hamas.

Rabbi Yosef Witzen, whose son Amichai also died on October 7th, emphasized the importance of national unity. He urged the public to remain strong and resilient against terrorism. Witzen called for the nation to stand together and not be swayed by terrorist acts, reinforcing the need to resist and overcome these challenges without conceding to violence.

Israelis Protest Against Netanyahu Following Hostage Deaths
The discovery of six deceased hostages in Gaza has ignited widespread outrage among Israelis. Many have expressed their anger towards Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of failing to secure a cease-fire that could have led to their release.

By Sunday evening, protests erupted nationwide as frustration mounted. In response to the mounting anger, Israel's largest labor union announced a "complete strike" set to start on Monday morning. This action reflects the intense dissatisfaction among both the families of the hostages and Netanyahu's political adversaries.
