NEW DELHI: Following the Aam Aadmi Party's historic victory in the Punjab Assembly elections, Bhagwant Mann, the party's chief ministerial candidate, will go to Delhi on Friday to meet with Chief Minister and party convener Arvind Kejriwal and extend an invitation to the oath-taking ceremony.

The  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained 92 members in the 117-member Assembly. The party is getting ready to make the victory celebration one to remember.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held in the village of Khatkar Kalan, where freedom warrior Bhagat Singh was born. During the campaign, the party sought votes in the name of Bhagat Singh, who is also a devotee of Bhagwant Mann.

For the first time, the AAP will form a full-fledged government. In a day or two, the oath-taking ceremony will take place. Following his historic election victory, Bhagwant Mann stated that he would take the oath in Khatkar Kalan. Kejriwal could possibly meet with the Punjab's freshly elected legislators
