New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has recently alleged that 'ever since Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come to meet the agitating farmers on the Singhu border, he has been under house arrest by the Delhi Police. These allegations of AAP have been denied by Delhi Police. Yes, recently the Delhi Police has denied the allegations of 'AAP' saying that 'the Chief Minister had gone out last evening also and there is no restriction on his arrival and residence'.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal went to meet the farmers on Monday and after that there were reports that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been under house arrest by Delhi Police. AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj held a press conference. During this, he said, "On the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Delhi Police has put the Chief Minister under house arrest. Nobody is being allowed to leave the house nor anyone from outside is allowed to enter the house." Our MLAs have been beaten up. The police has done a lot of barricading outside the house. Even the people working in the house are not allowed inside. "Not only this but Saurabh Bhardwaj also said, 'We will march towards all CM houses and ensure that the Chief Minister is released.'
AAP also made some allegations through Twitter. In a tweet it was written that, 'The three mayors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi have been put on dharna outside the main gate of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's house and the police have barricaded them outside the Chief Minister's house, using this as an excuse. Due to this, no one can come to meet Kejriwal and neither can he go out anywhere. These allegations have been declared false by Delhi Police.
