Bharat Bandh: Action will be taken against those who force to close shop, Delhi Police Advisory continues

New Delhi: Farmers' agitation continues against the new agricultural laws of the Central government. The meeting of the fifth phase after being inconclusive,  a second meeting is also going to be on December 9. Earlier on December 8, the farmers' organizations have announced 'Bharat Bandh' nationwide. All opposition parties, trade unions, auto and taxi unions have also announced support for farmers' bandh call. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has also started gearing up.

The most impact of the nationwide Bharat Bandh can be seen in Delhi-NCR and Haryana. All farmers from Punjab, Haryana and adjoining states are on the Delhi border. Due to this, all the routes of Delhi-NCR are closed. People are facing jams every day. In view of the Bharat Bandh, Delhi Police has made adequate arrangements to ensure normal movement.

Traffic advisory has also been issued in this regard. Legal action will be taken against those who force people to close their shops or to forcefully stop the movement. The Delhi Police has appealed that the normal life of the general public and the residents of the city should not be disrupted. PRO Ish Singhal of Delhi Police has said that during 'Bharat Bandh' on Tuesday, strong arrangements have been made by the Delhi Police to ensure the normal movement of people on the streets.
