Bharti Airtel is now making it possible for travelers to stay connected even while flying. The company has teamed up with Aero Mobile, a global provider of in-flight connectivity, to offer mobile services on 19 different airlines, including well-known names like Etihad, Emirates, and Cathay Pacific.

With this partnership, Airtel customers can enjoy voice calls, text messaging, and data services while cruising at altitude. What's more, Airtel is ensuring that these services come at competitive prices, making it accessible to a wide range of travelers.

For those worried about additional costs, Airtel has a solution. Customers subscribed to certain roaming packs, priced at Rs. 2997 for prepaid and Rs. 3999 for postpaid plans and above, will be able to access in-flight roaming at no extra charge.

Interestingly, Airtel isn't the first to offer such services. Reliance Jio introduced a similar offering back in 2020, also through Aero Mobile. However, Airtel's entry into this space is likely to bring more competition and possibly better deals for consumers.

It's worth noting that while the data allowances in the offered packages range from 250 MB to 1 GB, users can easily top up their data mid-flight if needed, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity throughout their journey.

This move by Bharti Airtel is sure to delight frequent flyers who rely on staying connected, whether for work or leisure, even at 30,000 feet above ground. With more airlines and telecom companies exploring such partnerships, it seems that staying connected in the skies is becoming increasingly mainstream.
