Bhopal: Abdul Jabbar,who became the voice of the victims of Bhopal gas tragedy, died on Thursday, he was ill for a long time. Earlier in the day, the Madhya Pradesh government announced that it would bear the expenses of the treatment of Abdul Jabbar, a leading activist who worked for the victims of the 1984 Union Carbide gas leak tragedy. Jabbar was undergoing treatment for the last few months. Dr. Abbas, who was treating Jabbar, said that Jabbar was a heart patient. He also had diabetes. He came to HeartAttack twice on Thursday nights at 9 and 10, causing him to die.

He also fought a long battle against the encroachment on Yadgare Shah Jahanni Park. Jabbar was associated with the organization of the victims of the 1984 gas tragedy and spent a lifetime trying to get her rights. He had gangrene in his left leg, which he underwent undergoing financial treatment. Some social workers and friends had also started a campaign on social media to raise funds for his treatment. The NGO 'Bhopal Gas Victim Women's Industry Organization' formed by Jabbar has been working for the survivors of the Bhopal gas scandal for nearly three decades.

There was a terrible industrial accident on 3 December 1984 in Bhopal city. This is known as Bhopal Gas Scandal, or Bhopal Gas Tragedy. There was a poisonous gas leak from the factory of Union Carbide, located in Bhopal, which killed more than 15000 people and many people also suffered from various types of physical disability and blindness. A poisonous gas leak called methyl isocyanite was used in the Bhopal gas scandal which was used to make pesticides. It was a very deadly gas, which still has an impact on people.
