Officials of the Bhopal railway division said that a new under-bridge near the existing Habibganj underpass will be ready before this monsoon. Bhopal The Municipal Corporation (BMC)  has given the withheld amount for the Railway under bridge being constructed in Habibganj area.

Now the bridge construction work will be commenced again and is expected to be ready ready before June. With the completion of the bridge, it will be easy to travel from Shahpura towards Hoshangabad Road.

During the rainy season the underpass used to get waterlogged creating trouble for people travelling in this route. After the construction of Savarkar Setu in this area, there was a dire need of bridge for people leaving towards AIIMS, Hoshangabad Road, Barkheda Pathani, Awadhpuri, Bagh Sewania, ISBT bus stand from Shahpura, No. 10, 11, Manisha Market, Bitthal Market, Arera Colony.

The bridge is likely to be ready soon by the corporation's grant. Bhopal Railway Board has confirmed the amount and the completion of the bridgework before the rainy season. Under bridge work started a year ago. This bridge was to be ready in June 2020.
