Bhopal: Lockdown has been imposed to prevent corona. During this lockdown, where policemen are engaged in the service of humans day and night, it has created a different image of the police. In the capital Bhopal, the department is being misled by the handiwork of some policemen. TT Nagar Police has arrested 6 policemen from Narmada Bhavan in Bhopal while gambling under lockdown. A case has been registered against all the policemen.

In fact, out of the policemen arrested on Thursday evening, 5 are from the Special Armed Force and 5 belong to Bhopal District Police. TT city police have registered a case against all. A case has been filed against them for breaking the lockdown. SHO Sanjeev Chaukse has told that at 5 pm on Thursday evening we had received information that some people are playing gambling near Narmada Bhavan. On information, the police caught 6 policemen playing gambling near Narmada Bhavan. Four of the 6 jawans are currently posted in the special branch at the police headquarters. 1 is posted in EOW and 1 is on duty in the bank.

Bhopal Police has registered a case against 136 people on Thursday for breaking the lockdown. Earlier on Wednesday, 142 cases were also registered. Action on the accused is being done under sections 188, 269 and 270 of IPC. Action is being taken on some accused under the National Disaster Management Act.
