Patna: Bihar's Bahubali leader Anant Singh was sentenced to 10 years in jail by an MP MLA court. Ever since the sentence was pronounced by the MP MLA court, Anant Singh's MLAship was being snatched. Now Anant Singh's MLAship has gone. The Assembly Secretariat has issued an order terminating the membership of Anant Singh of RJD.

Bihar Assembly In-charge Secretary Pawan Kumar has issued an order terminating the assembly membership of Anant Singh. The order issued by the Secretary-in-charge of Bihar Assembly said that Mokama MLA Anant Singh is terminated from the date of his conviction after his conviction by the MP MLA court.

The order, issued by the Bihar Assembly Secretariat, also said that the list of members should be treated as revised. On June 21, the MP MLA court sentenced Anant Singh, popularly known as Chhote Sarkar, to 10 years in jail in the Arms Act case. Anant Singh was sentenced in the 2019 case. In 2019, police raided Anant Singh's house. This raid lasted for hours, the police seized the AK-47. In this famous case, Anant Singh played the game of hide-and-seek with the police for several days. Anant Singh was elected MLA from the Mokama seat on RJD ticket in the year 2020.
