Poonch: There has been a big disclosure in the case of terrorist attack on Thursday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Intelligence sources say that this attack was carried out by 5 terrorists. In this, 3 terrorists were foreign and two were local. It has also come to light that the attack was aimed at creating panic before the G-20 meeting. Many persons have been arrested in this case, who are being interrogated.

In this attack, five soldiers of the Rashtriya Rifles were martyred, while one was injured. Havildar Mandeep Singh, Constable Harkishan Singh, Lance Naik Kulwant Singh, and Sepoy Sewak Singh were residents of Punjab, while Lance Naik Debashish was a resident of Odisha. Let us tell you that the terrorists fired indiscriminately and fired grenades when the army vehicle was between Bhimber Gali and Poonch. Taking advantage of heavy rain and low visibility, the terrorists carried out the ambush. This led to the grenade attack that caught fire in the vehicle.

In fact, India is presiding over the G-20 Summit this year. Under this, meetings are to be held at different places. Two meetings will be held in Srinagar and Leh, Ladakh. The meeting is to be held in Leh from 26 to 28 April and in Srinagar from 22 to 24 May. By attacking before this meeting, terrorists want to send a message that the situation in Kashmir is not normal. Pakistan has also expressed objections regarding both of these meetings. However, India rejected Pakistan's objection, saying that Jammu and Kashmir and Leh are integral and inalienable parts of India. To avenge this attack, a joint team of security forces has started the operation. It has Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel. The Army has input that seven terrorists are hiding in the area. In view of this, an intensive search operation is being conducted. In this operation, drones and helicopters are being used.
