Mumbai: Petrol and diesel have become cheaper in Maharashtra. In this, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs.5 and diesel by Rs.3, which will benefit the common people. The decision has been taken by the Maharashtra Cabinet. The new Government of Maharashtra has taken another big decision. It has been said that due to the Emergency imposed in 1975, those who were lodged in jail, such people will be given a pension in the state.
Along with this, Eknath Shinde has also made an announcement for the farmers. He said that he had decided to give an incentive of Rs 50,000 to the farmers who pay loans regularly. It did not include the farmers whose losses were compensated by the Government in the earlier situation, now such farmers will also get the benefit of it.
A new government was formed in Maharashtra this month. About 40 Shiv Sena MLAs have taken a rebel stand and formed the government in the state along with the BJP. The floor test was necessitated after the MLAs rebelled, due to which Uddhav Thackeray resigned as the Chief Minister. Later, rebel and independent MLAs formed the government along with the BJP. Eknath Shinde was made the Chief Minister and Devendra Fadnavis became the Deputy Chief Minister.
