Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey's alleged boyfriend, Samar Singh, has been taken into custody in the suicide case. Samar Singh has been taken into custody by the Varanasi Police from Ghaziabad's Nandgram area. Singer Samar was hiding in the Charms Castle Society of Rajnagar Extension here. Now Banaras police will take on transit remand.

Akanksha Dubey was also found dead in a hotel in Varanasi in the past. Akanksha's mother and other family members also accused Samar of aiding and abetting her to commit suicide. Samar had been missing since Akanksha's death. Samar Singh's brother has also been named in the complaint given by the actress's mother. The police have issued a lookout notice against the accused.

Akanksha's mother says that her daughter met Samar three years ago. He alleged that Samar had also formed a physical relationship with Akanksha by bluffing her. He had made objectionable videos, which he used to blackmail. He has also been accused of assault and taking money.
