Siwan: The cousin died on Sunday evening after drowning in a pond in Karnapura village under GB Nagar Tarwara police station area of Siwan district of Bihar. Seeing the two drowning, the girl on the spot started shouting at two other friends. Hearing his voice, people nearby rushed to the pond. The body of the siblings could be fished out of the water.

According to reports, Suraj Yadav, son of Ramdayal Yadav, a resident of Karnapura village, along with his cousin Radhika Kumari (14 years old), had gone for a boat walk in a nearby pond with two friends from his village. In the meantime, as soon as Suraj Yadav landed in the water to rescue the boat when it got stuck, it started sinking. Seeing her drowning, her cousin Radhika Kumari got into the water to save her and she too started drowning.

Both his friends were on the boat. Who later somehow saved themselves. Meanwhile, the news of the death of the siblings caused a stir in the area.  At the same time, the family members are in a bad shape. People in the vicinity started tying up the family members of the deceased. Police from GB Nagar Tarwara police station who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident rushed the two bodies to Siwan Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
