Patna: The Bihar government appears ready to deal with the coronavirus. In Bihar, however, not a single case of coronavirus has been confirmed yet. Even after this, the state government is taking many precautionary steps on its behalf. CM Nitish Kumar has held a high-level meeting on the coronavirus.

In this meeting, it has been decided to keep the school-coaching and college of Bihar closed till March 31 in view of the increasing infection of the coronavirus. Private schools have also been requested to stop the examination. However, CBSE examinations will continue. After the meeting, Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar said in a press conference that so far 142 patients have been screened in Bihar. Of these, 73 patients have been released from the hospital, while the rest have not been reported yet.

The Bihar government has also decided that the amount of mid-day mill will be given in the account of the beneficiaries. Anganwadi centers will also be closed and the amount will be given to the beneficiaries account. The government has also postponed Bihar Day. A new date will be announced in April. Along with this, all sports and cultural programs have also been postponed. The Bihar government has decided to close all parks and zoos in view of the coronavirus.
