Patna hospitals can charge Rs 10,000 for isolation beds, Rs 15,000 for ICU without ventilators, Rs 18,000 for ventilator ICU, while a PPE kit is available for Rs 2,000. B can charge Rs 8,000 for isolation beds in grade districts, Rs 12,000 for ICU without ventilators, and Rs 14,400 for ICU with ventilators, while in C grade districts the fee will be Rs 6,000, Rs 9,000, and Rs 10,800 for related facilities.

Bihar Principal Secretary, Department of Health, Amrit had directed all DMs in 38 districts to implement it within the respective jurisdictions. Fixing charges will provide a big relief to covid patients as there were many complaints that private hospitals were charging Rs 3-4 lakh per patient from corona infected patients.
