Jamui: The gross negligence of Sadar Hospital in Jamui district of Bihar has come to light. In this case a child could have lost his life due to gross negligence of the hospital. In fact, there have been major lapses by the lab personnel of Sadar Hospital.

Mohammad Shamsher Raza who lives in the village of Chautand in Khaira block had brought his one-and-a-half-year-old son suffering from fever for treatment. where the doctor told him to give him blood transfusions. he then rushed to the lab to test the baby's first blood group. The lab examined the child's blood group by the technician and Shamsher was told that his son's blood group was B+. After which he wandered for about three hours for blood. The family's blood was examined, but no one's blood was matched with the child. However, later the Sunni Ulema Board Secretary, J.Y.Ul Rasool Ghafri, arranged B-positive blood.

Surprisingly, when the blood cross-matching was done it was found that the blood group of child is O  positive.  After which the child was given blood transfusion in the evening by arranging O+ blood. It was also reported to the hospital superintendent. The superintendent then cracked down on the lab technician. Also asked to explain the cause of the mistake.
