Patna: Ak-47 has been recovered in a police raid at the home of independent MLA Anant Singh in Bihar. A hand grenade was also recovered from his house, though police have not yet confirmed it. This is not the first case when weapons were recovered from Anant Singh. Earlier in 2006, the video came to light waving Anant Singh's gun.

Police operation is still going on and it is not yet clear from where these weapons came from in their house. According to media reports, a large number of policemen had reached Ladwan, the ancestral village of Anant Singh. Their house was surrounded by policemen. However, Anant Singh was not present at the house at that time. The police took possession of the people present in the house. The entire area was cordoned off. Nobody was allowed to go that side. Villagers have informed that the walls of Anant Singh's house were demolished.

According to information, the police have conducted friday raids. Anant Singh was not present at the house when the raid was conducted. A large number of policemen surrounded the entire house. The police captured the people present there. It is reported that the walls of the house had to be demolished. Police action is still going on.
