Rampur: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat Azam Khan is not taking the troubles to a stand. The Johar University case was still unresolved as a bulldozer was driven into the wall of their Humsafar resort on Friday. The Irrigation Department had already sent a notice to MP Azam Khan on the wall that has been demolished.

The resort is named after Azam Khan's son Abdullah. The Irrigation Department has alleged that the wall of the resort has been constructed on the land of the Irrigation Department. An official said, no action has been taken even after the notice was issued to Azam Khan and hence the bulldozer swayed the wall of the Hamsafar resort.

The Irrigation Department team reached the Hamsafar resort with the police force and broke the wall of the resort. Heavy police force was deployed in the area due to fear of protest. The district administration is on alert. Police have also been informed of the action. The deputy district magistrate had issued orders three weeks ago to break a portion of the Hamsafar resort. The wall was built on 1,000 square yards of land belonging to the Irrigation Department.
