Property worth lakhs of rupees has also been burnt to ashes in the fire that broke out in Vidyapati Nagar in Samastipur. Several cattle were also charred to death due to the fire in the area. Let us know that the spark from the short circuit in Garhisai village of Vidyapati Nagar block took the form of a huge fire and created such a ruckus that 30 houses were burnt to ashes as soon as they saw it.

The fire caused a massive explosion in three LPG cylinders, after which the situation became worse and it engulfed several houses. As soon as the incident was reported, the villagers gathered in large numbers looked helpless in the face of the magnitude of the fire. Anshu Kumar, the three-year-old son of Shravan Kumar Ram, who was sleeping in the house during the fire incident, was burnt alive. At the same time, many animals were also badly burnt in this fire and they also died. Later, four more vehicles of the fire department were called to the spot, after which the heat of the fire could be reduced. After the fire was extinguished, people were seen collecting the leftovers from their charred ashes. On being informed about the incident, the office-bearers of the sub-division and block led by the SDO rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. The victim's family has been provided with sheets and food. The authorities are now working to assess the damage caused by the fire.
