A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has come forward, claiming responsibility for the assassination of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Rohit Godara, associated with the notorious gang, asserted his involvement in the murder shortly after Gogamedi was shot inside his residence.

Using a Facebook post, Godara publicly admitted to the killing, adding to the intensity of the situation. Hailing from Rajasthan, Godara is currently evading authorities in India, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) taking measures to address the matter.

The chilling incident, where Gogamedi was fatally shot, was captured by surveillance cameras. The footage shows two assailants firing multiple rounds at the Karni Sena chief and another individual at the doorway. The distressing scene unfolds as Gogamedi collapses due to the gunshot wounds sustained.

Despite immediate medical attention following the attack, Gogamedi succumbed to his injuries. Ajit Singh, present during the tragic event, also suffered severe injuries, according to officials.
