Dehradun: According to sources, the mood of the state Uttarakhand is going to change from December 11. The Meteorological Department has predicted the western disturbance to be active across the state this week. Under this, there will be light rain across the state including Dehradun. There will be snowfall in the mountains. The outbreak of cold is increasing all over the state.

According to sources, it is known that the night temperature in Dehradun has reached 7.2 degrees. The Meteorological Department has now forecast to change the weather from December 11. Light rain and snowfall may occur at few places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Pithoragarh on 11th December. The chance of snowfall has also been expressed at places with an altitude of more than 3000 meters.

Sources say that light to moderate rain may occur at many places across the state on December 12. Snowfall is expected in the mountains. There is a possibility of light rain in Dehradun on 12 and 13 December. However, the capital will be partly cloudy on 14 December. According to Meteorological Director Bikram Singh, no warning has been issued but due to rain and snowfall, the cold may increase further.
