Indore: A resolution taken by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya years ago has been fulfilled today. During this time, he was told by a Mahatma that the city has Pitra Dosha, due to which the development of the city is blocked. To remove this defect, an idol of Hanuman will have to be installed. After establishing the statue of Hanuman on Pitru Parvat, he had promised to take food.

At the behest of Mahatma, Vijayvargiya started the process to install the statue of Hanuman. It started with planting saplings in the memory of ancestors on the old Devdharma Tekri of the city. About one lakh saplings were planted here in the last 20 years. After this, the work of making the statue of Ashtadhatu of Lord Bajrangbali was started. 125 artisans of Gwalior built the statue in 7 years which has been established this month.

Its Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav is going on from 24 February, which will end today i.e. on 3 March. The statue of Lord Hanuman Ji is 72 feet high and weighs 108 tons. About 15 crore rupees have been spent on the statue. In this Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, Peetadheeshwar Mahamandaleshwar Awadheshanand Giri Maharaj of Juna Akhara, Sant Murari Bapu and Mahamandaleshwar Gurusharananandji Maharaj from Vrindavan have come to Indore. Kailash Vijayvargiya took food in his hands.
