New Delhi: In a recent statement, senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi expressed his views on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the state of the opposition bloc. Naqvi highlighted Rahul Gandhi's role as a liability within the opposition and warned of potential repercussions for several parties post-election.

Addressing concerns surrounding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Naqvi assured that the legislation would not adversely affect any Indian citizen, including Muslims. He accused the opposition of attempting to stoke communal tensions for political gain by spreading misinformation about the CAA.

Naqvi predicted a decisive victory for the BJP in the upcoming elections, citing a loss of public trust in opposition parties, particularly the Congress. He criticized the INDIA bloc, comprising various opposition parties, for lacking coherent leadership and clear policies, attributing this to internal conflicts and individual ambitions.

Regarding the leadership crisis within the opposition, Naqvi singled out Rahul Gandhi, labeling him as a liability for the INDIA bloc. He suggested that the opposition's frustration is evident in their rhetoric and expressed confidence in the BJP's ability to secure a third consecutive term in government.

Naqvi dismissed opposition concerns regarding the CAA and the speculation surrounding a National Register of Citizens (NRC) as fear-mongering tactics aimed at stirring communal tensions. He emphasized the BJP government's commitment to inclusive development and maintaining communal harmony in the country.

Highlighting Prime Minister Modi's leadership and governance, Naqvi praised the government's achievements in various sectors, including welfare policies, national security, and good governance. He asserted that the mood of the nation favors the return of the BJP government led by Narendra Modi for a third consecutive term.
