New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi brought demonetisation in 2016 to curb black money in the country, but in Surat, Gujarat, black money has turned his black money white, the allegation is not by anyone else but former Income Tax Officer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader PVS Sharma. He has said that there was a scam of 2 thousand crores in Surat alone.

PVS Sharma has accused some local jewelers of depositing crores of rupees in cash during demonetisation and making money through money laundering. PVS Sharma, in his tweet, has also demanded PM Narendra Modi to investigate the entire matter with the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In this case, they have accused the Income Tax Officer, Builders, CA and Jewelers.

PVS Sharma, who has been working in the Income Tax Department for almost 18 years, is a leader of the BJP for a long time and has won the election of a councilor on a party ticket. On this tweet by PVS Sharma, Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia also made a tweet and through the jewelers Kalamandir of Surat, it was said to sell gold worth Rs 110 crore on the night of demonetisation.
