Between the lockdown and the Corona crisis, there is a chill between the central government and the West Bengal government. Now BJP leaders have also started protests against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. However, during the Corona virus crisis, this demonstration is being done through video.

For your information, let us tell you that many leaders including Union Minister and BJP MP from West Bengal Babul Supriyo, National Secretary General of BJP and Kailash Vijayvargiya, Central Supervisor of Party in Bengal are joining the protest. Kailash Vijayvargiya MP staged a protest against Mamta Banerjee from her residence in Indore. Also, Vijayvargiya said that the purpose of the two-hour BJP sit-in today is to draw public attention to the politics of Mamata government under the cover of Corona. She is also in a tizzy of hiding the data of patients and free ration sent by the Center to the poor.

Apart from this, a team from the Center recently reached North Bengal to take stock of the situation in Corona, had written a letter to the West Bengal government to ensure strict compliance of the lockdown in North Bengal. The team visiting North Bengal had written a letter to Chief Secretary Rajiv Sinha saying that more field officers are needed to keep an eye on the situation and how effective the various steps taken by the government are proving to be.
