Ranchi: The issue of separate rooms for Muslims to offer prayers in Jharkhand's new assembly building is now gaining momentum. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Viranchi Narayan has demanded the allotment of rooms for different religions since a room was allotted to Muslim members to offer prayers.

BJP MLA Viranchi Narayan demands that rooms be allotted to Hindus and other religious communities in the assembly. He has said that separate worship rooms should be arranged for MLAs of Hindus, Sarna, Sikhs, Jains, and all religions living in Jharkhand. Viranchi Narayan has argued that apart from Muslim religious leaders, people of other religions can also worship and pray according to their opinion in the Assembly. Now the problems may increase after the BJP MLA demand before the Jharkhand government. It is difficult for everyone to make separate arrangements.

Talking to the media, Speaker Ravindra Mahato said that there is nothing new in it. This system has been in force since the time of undivided Bihar. State that the assembly is adjourned for prayers half an hour in advance on Friday.
