In the parliamentary constituency Bathinda, the BJP demonstrated vigorously on the pretext of welcoming the daughter-in-law of the Badal family and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur and BJP's national head JP Nadda. From Bathinda, Badal Nadda village of Muktsar was given a grand welcome at ten places. Village Badal Reach Nadda met former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in a closed room for 20 minutes at his residence. During this time no leader other than the two was with him. Even the state head Ashwani Kumar was asked to leave the room.

For your information, let us tell you that after the meeting, Nadda came out and said that he had come to invite Badal to his son's wedding. There was no political conversation during the meeting. As far as politics is concerned, the Shiromani Akali Dal is our very old tested political party. Both SAD and BJP are engaged in strengthening the NDA.

In his statement, Nadda said that I have no old relationship with Parkash Singh Badal but today. This relationship is from a young age. Badal's blessings have been with me since I was in student politics. Was in charge of Punjab even then worked strongly with him. We have not only a political relationship with Badal but also a family relationship. Whenever we meet, we think about making social changes. When asked whether he would contest the 2022 elections in coalition or separately, he avoided saying that first of all it is our duty that the NDA move forward.
