New Delhi: On February 24, all of the nation's districts will celebrate "Namo Kisan Samman Diwas" to honour the conclusion of four years of the Center's flagship "Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana."

Manoj Yadav, the Kisan Morcha's national media coordinator, stated in a Tuesday in a press briefing: "On February 24, the Kisan Morcha will commemorate "Namo Kisan Samman Divas," under the direction of its national president and MP Rajkumar Chahar. Each area in the nation will commemorate this Samman Diwas." 

Further, he said that on this day, BJP officials and supporters will meet with the program's beneficiaries all throughout the nation.

The BJP would also express its gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for coming up with and putting into effect a plan for the welfare and prosperity of our Annadata (farmers), he added.

On February 24, 2019, Prime Minister Modi introduced the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

In accordance with this programme, three payments of Rs 2,000 each totaling Rs 6,000 are made annually straight to the bank accounts of the estimated 11 crore farmers in the nation.

Some of notable  Agricultural Schemes Introduced by Central Government  area as under:

PM-Kisan Yojana: PM Kisan Samman Yojana, introduced in 2018, intends to provide Rs. 6,000 3 instalments per year as minimum income to 120 million small and borderline farmers of India with smaller than two hectares of landholding. 
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Bandhan Yojana: The PM Kisan Bandhan Scheme aspires to provide a minimum pension of Rs. 3000/month to marginalised farmers at 60. 

PM Fasal Bima Yojana:  In this Scheme, a farmer has to pay a maximum compensation of 2% for Kharif, 1.5% for Rabi food and oilseed crops, and 5% for annual commercial crops and the remaining part of the actuarial or bided premium is equally shared by Centre and state government. 

Kisan Credit Card Scheme: The Scheme provides short-term credit to cultivators in the agriculture, fisheries, and animal husbandry sector to buy tools and other expenses. Many banks offer  Kisan Credit Card, including SBI,  HDFC, ICICI, and Axis Bank.

Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana: The Scheme strives to facilitate organic cultivation in India to enhance soil health and organic content in India, thereby strengthening the net income of the farmers. 

National Agriculture Market: National Agriculture Market gives an e-marketing platform at the national level and endorses the creation of infrastructure to promote e-marketing.
