Fatehpur: During the patrolling in the Kishanpur police station area under Fatehpur district in Uttar Pradesh, a boat full of policemen overturned the river Yamuna on Saturday evening due to the strong storm. During this time, a sub-inspector, a soldier and a sailor died in it. After nearly 12 hours, on Sunday, the three bodies have been recovered.

While giving information on Sunday, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajesh Kumar has told that, along with the Deputy Inspector Ramjit Sonkar (52), Hamrahi Sepoy Shashi Kant (25) and Sepoy Nirmal Yadav posted at Kishanpur police station on Saturday at around 4 pm. Went to the banks of the Yamuna river for patrolling. The trio called Sailor Ravi (27) through a ferry and patrolled the border of Banda district, returning to the evening of about six and a half, during the strong storm and hail near Lakhanpur-Zorawar village, their boat became uncontrollable in the middle of the stream. I overturned.

He told that a soldier Nirmal Yadav came out after swimming about four hundred meters of water, but sub-inspectors Ramjit, soldiers Shashikant and Sailor Ravi drowned in deep water. The ASP said that by putting nets, divers kept searching for the trio overnight, but after twelve hours of hard work, the NDRF team was able to recover the three bodies from the water around 9 o'clock this morning.
