Muzaffarpur: A major accident took place in Muzaffarpur in Bihar on Sunday. The boiler exploded at the noodles factory of Bela Phase-II in the district here. At least 10 workers were killed while more than 12 others were injured in the incident. The sound of the blast was so dangerous that people gathered there and informed the police. Officials say rescue operations are on and more information about the accident is being collected. The Bihar government has announced Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.

Meanwhile, CM Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over the accident and ordered an inquiry. The CM said, "A team of officers is being sent from Patna for investigation. Strict action will be taken against the culprits after the inquiry report. DM and SSP including IG have reached the spot. The rescue operation is on.

The explosion was so dangerous that the sound of an explosion was heard 5 km away from the spot. At least 5 fire tenders were sent to the spot to control the fire. People said that nearby establishments have also been damaged in the accident. People living nearby said they heard a loud explosion of the accident at the factory. Police from 2 police stations are on the spot.
