Dehradun: A painful accident took place in Tuni, Uttarakhand on Sunday morning. Bolero pickup vehicle carrying apples from Uttarkashi fell into the ditch. Two persons died on the spot in the accident. The police pulled out both the bodies from the ditch with the help of ropes.

According to the news received, in the morning the police station Tuni received a complaint that the bodies of two persons were seen lying in the ditch. The spot is about 15 km from Tuni. When the team visited the spot, it was found that the pickup vehicle number UK07CD-0843 was lying in the ditch. The vehicle was carrying apples from Tikochi Uttarkashi. But suddenly became uncontrollable and fell into the ditch about 600-700 meters below the road.

In the same accident, Kishore Singh Chauhan (25 years) son of Abdul Singh Chauhan resident of Duchanu Post Tikochi police station Mori Uttarkashi and Pankaj Kumar (40 years) son of Omprakash resident of old Kalsi police station Kalsi district Dehradun died on the spot. The deceased persons have been taken out with the help of local residents and kept in Tuni mortuary.
