Ratlam: A late-night FIR was registered against seven senior students for ragging junior students in Government Medical College in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, taking action against the students, the college management expelled all the students from the college for one year. After the college management has identified the remaining students, it has been said that action will be taken against them as well.

Warden Dr Anurag Jain had complained about the same ragging case to the police station industrial area. In this case, the police arrested Mukesh Ninama, resident of Ambapada in Sailana, Piyush Patidar resident of Bamankhedi in Alot, Karan Meda, resident of Richhi village of Sailana, Sawan Kalme, resident of Khadiaghat Bhanpura in Dhar, Nilesh Patidar, resident of Hatnara, Deepak Nigwal, resident of Dahi Kukshi in Dhar and Mandsaur. A case has been registered against Bhanpura resident Vishal Patidar for ragging and assaulting junior students.

It is being said that when the hostel warden received the complaint of ragging and went out to investigate, he was attacked with empty glass bottles of liquor, in which he had survived. Due to the last few months, after this case of ragging come to the fore once again, strict action has been taken by the college management this time. Recently, the video of senior students slapping junior students due to this incident had gone viral, after which, the matter gained momentum.
