The ever-increasing mob lynching incidents in the country have led to clear-see out anger among the people. A section of the country is quite frightened by this crime growing in the name of Lord Ram. From 2009 to October 2018, there have been about 254 religious lyrical crimes in the country. While 840 crime incidents in 2016 have been reported only with Dalits, on the number a letter is written in the name of PM Narendra Modi. None other than they are the writers of Bollywood industry celebs who have urged the PM to take concrete steps to curb the growing crime.

With many big names from Bollywood, more than 40 celebs are on the list. The open letter has been written by the filmmaker, artist, social service, all of them in the name of PM Modi. According to information, the list includes prominent names like Shyam Benegal, Anurag Kashyap, Binayak Sen, Somiter Chatterjee, Konkana Sen Sharma, Shubha Mudgal, Anupam Roy.

In a letter, celebs have told PM Narendra that merely condemning mob lynching in parliament will not help at all. What action is being taken against it? Tell this. Celebs further said, "We feel that there should not be any such crime and that such people should be severely punished. Such murderers should be sentenced to life imprisonment for parole."
