Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has recently banned the Mumbai Metro car shed project. Due to this, the Uddhav Thackeray government of the state has suffered a big setback. The court has asked MMRDA to maintain status maintenance. However, earlier during the hearing in the Bombay High Court, the state government had agreed to listen to other parties.

During that time, the state government had said that the decision of the Mumbai Collector was regular, despite this, the state government is ready to listen to other parties. However, in this case, the Central government said that the decision of the Mumbai Collector is not according to the rules, so it should be cancelled. Private developer Goradia also opposed the role of the state government in the court.

During this time, Garodia demanded that the decision of the Collector should be rescinded and MMRDA should immediately stop the work going on the Kanjurmarg metro car shed. At present, the Bombay High Court has given its decision in which it has been said that the Mumbai Metro car shed project should be stopped.
