Box office collection: Emraan Hashmi's Why cheat India fails to Witness a minimal growth

Emraan Hashmi’s starrer Why Cheat India has gained positive reviews from the audience as well as critics but it failed to do wonder at box-office. After getting a poor start on its opening day, film failed to show substantial growth over the weekend. The film minted Rs 2.64 crore on sunday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 6.80 crore.

Business analyst and film critics Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the box office collection of the film. He wrote,” #WhyCheatIndia cuts a sorry picture... Witnessed [minimal] growth after a lacklustre start, but not enough to salvage the situation... Fri 1.71 cr, Sat 2.45 cr, Sun 2.64 cr. Total: ₹ 6.80 cr. India biz.”
