Brazil's President appeals to PM Modi, 'Send corona vaccine soon'

New Delhi: Corona vaccination campaign is going to start soon in the country after getting approval for emergency use of two indigenous vaccines developed in India. Meanwhile, Brazilian President Zaire Bolsonaro has written a letter to PM Modi urging him to send the Covid vaccine as soon as possible. Brazil ranks second in the list of Corona-affected countries in the world, due to the lack of introduction and delay in Brazil, the pressure on Brazil is increasing.

The Brazilian President's Office has issued this letter. Brazilian President Zaire Bolsonaro has written in a letter to PM Modi, 'I appeal to supply 20 lakh vaccine doses for immediate implementation of our National Immunization Program without any hindrance on Indian immunization program.' Bolsonaro has sent this message to PM Modi at a time when the Brazilian government-run Fiocruz Biomedical Center said that millions of doses of AstraZeneca in Brazil may not reach before the end of this month.

Fiocruz has stated that he is in talks for a vaccine dose. It has 20 million doses from India. Earlier, Fiocruz had appealed to approve emergency use of the AstraZeneca vaccine arriving from India.
