New Delhi: The broom has been locked and tied to an iron railing just in front of the apex court in the national capital. The picture itself raises many questions as to why it was possible to keep the broom tied in such a high-security area. When the cleaners present were asked to answer this question, the answer was that people steal their brooms, so they were forced to take these steps.

In fact, it would be surprising if brooms were stolen in the high-security area of the apex court. In the picture, you can see how many shrubs are locked one after the other from the line on the railing, like it is a very expensive or unique thing. Jaswanti, a female sweeper, has explained that we have to tie the broom to the lock because people steal the broom.

She further said that a broom comes to Rs. 100. The lock also comes almost the same. People would have wanted free goods, so pick up the broom. They should have a given broom.  Another woman sweeper Renu said that no thief who steals a broom has been caught so far. Thieves steal at night. If they break the lock during the day, we'll see and wash them. Thieves get a chance at night because we're not here. The Supreme Court is located in Delhi, where CM Arvind Kejriwal is, interestingly, his party AAP's election symbol is also a broom, while some people are even taking a dig at Kejriwal by saying "Kejriwal's broom theft in Delhi."
