Lahore: In a tragic incident, today, two passenger buses were collided in Pakistan's Punjab region, in which at least 27 people were killed. The incident occurred in Khanpur area of Rahim Yar Khan.

According to rescue services spokesperson Deeba Shahnaz, one of the buses was on route to Bahawalpur from Faisalabad while the other was travelling from Karachi to Rahim Yar Khan when the mishap happened. Over speeding is the reason behind the accident, due to which atleast 27 people were died and over 60 people wounded.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif uttered sorrow and distress over the loss of valuable lives in the mishap and asked the authorities to provide best medical treatment to the wounded.
