NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement on Thursday saying that the country's renowned educational and learning app, Byjus Team India, has become the new official sponsor. Once again, Team India's jersey sponsor is about to change. The Indian team has now been discharged from the blue jersey of the Main Spencer Chinese company, OPPO.

The Indian brand will soon be seen on the Virat Brigade's blue jersey. Team India can take on a new sponsor during the series against South Africa in September. Chinese mobile manufacturer OPPO acquired its rights to remain a title sponsor on Team India's jersey for five years from 2017, but OPPO has now granted its rights to Bengaluru's educational technology and online learning firm Byjus.
