Firozabad: In today's time, the number of incidents has increased so much that only people have created a furore on every side. At the same time, in the district, a campaign will be started from March 16 against vehicles running on the road without fitness, keeping the standards in mind. To prevent recurrence of accidents in Sirsaganj and Kannauj districts, the government has given vehicle owners time to complete the fitness and standards of vehicles by March 15.

According to the information received, there are about 150 contract permits and sleeper vehicles in the district. By 5 pm on March 13, only 70 vehicle owners reached the Transport Department office with their vehicles. As many as 12 out of 70 vehicles were found which were found to be contrary to the standards. The office will also be closed on 14 and 15 March with a holiday. Therefore from March 16, a campaign will be launched against vehicles running on the road without standard.

Blacklisted 30 vehicles: It has been learned that the Transport Department has blacklisted sleeper buses along with 30 contract permit vehicles. These are vehicles whose transport department issued a notice on meeting the standard along with fitness check, but neither the vehicle nor the vehicle was found at the address registered in the department. It is also being said that on this, the postal department has returned 30 notices to the transport department. Therefore, the Transport Department has blacklisted these vehicles. Out of 150 vehicles, 30 vehicles have been blacklisted. Vehicles are running on the highway without fitness and without standard. A campaign will be launched against those vehicles from March 16.
