Bhubaneswar: In Odisha, the maximum number of cases of corona in one day has increased to 94,668 in the state after the arrival of 3,682 new cases. At the same time, after the death of 8 more people, the deceased figure increased to 456. A health department official told that new cases have come out from all three districts. The Department of Health and Family Welfare tweeted, "It is sad to say, 8 more Corona patients died during treatment in hospitals." ''

The officer further told that out of the new Corona cases, 2,241 cases have come from different centers. While the other 1,441 patients became positive after the contact with the already infected people. He said that the maximum number of 3,384 new cases were reported in the state on Thursday. The officer said that treatment of 28,836 people is still going on in the state and 65,323 people have become corona free. He further informed that 16,12,097 samples of corona infection have been investigated so far in the state, out of which 58,840 samples were tested on Thursday only.

Apart from this, India has broken its own record of maximum 75,000 new cases in one day on Friday. In the last 24 hours 77,266 new cases of corona infection have been registered in India, which is the highest ever recorded in a single day. The Health Ministry said, the number of corona infected patients in India has increased to 33,87,500 while the death toll has risen to 61,529 of which 1,057 have died in the last 24 hours.
