Jammu: For the first time, the Shraddh Pooja was held in Keran on the Line of Control from the side of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir. In the eve, Sharddh pooja was done on the banks of Kishanganga river under the leadership of Rabindra Pandita. The followers of Swami Nandlal Ashram went to Keran from Tikkar of Kupwara and performed Shraddh. Due to this, Shraddh was also done for the victims of violence in Kashmir.

Ravindra Pandita said that after the Partition of India, Shraddh is performed for the first time. Kishanganga river has been the route of the annual Sharddh Yatra before the partition. In 1948 Nandlal Kupwara's tikkar, the last lord of the Sharda Peeth came. Pooja was approved by the Army, Police. The Save Sharddh Committee has demanded to start the journey to Shardapith like Kartarpur. This first pooja is done after the partition of the country.

On the other hand, the number of people infected with the coronavirus for the second consecutive day in the country has been above 75 thousand. The number of patients recovering in the midst of increasing cases is also increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours, more than 60 thousand people have beaten the coronavirus, due to which the number of cured people has crossed 25.83 lakhs.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o'clock on Tuesday morning, 77,266 new infected cases have been found during the last twenty-four hours. The total number of cases has gone up to 33 lakh 87 thousand 501.
