Mumbai: Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari have written an angry letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. In it, he has complained about the disruption and sabotage of national highway work by Shiv Sena public representatives and workers in the Washim district. In the letter, Nitin Gadkari said that Shiv Sena workers are creating panic in the hearts of officials, employees, and laborers by ransacking the machines and belongings of contractors. They come and stop working like this day in and day out.

Nitin Gadkari has written in his letter that if this continues, our Ministry will have to seriously consider the work of the National Highway in Maharashtra before it is approved. In his letter to Uddhav Thackeray, he has said that if the work is to be carried forward, you need to intervene. On receiving Nitin Gadkari's letter, CM Uddhav Thackeray immediately took the initiative in the matter and directed the state home department to immediately investigate and take necessary steps.

In a letter to CM Thackeray, the Union Minister said that the work of obstructing the works of national highways started in the state is being carried out at three places. If half of the work is left out, accidents increased. He wrote that the work of constructing a bypass road at a distance of 12 km from Washim city is underway. But due to the intervention of Shiv Sena leaders and workers, the work on the bypass and the main road connecting it has to be stopped.
